Members of the public are welcome to provide comment on any public interest, transportation-related topic, including the items listed on this agenda. Limit 3 minutes per speaker.
|2||1:05-1:10||Approval of the Minutes(*): February 23, 2016 Minutes|
|3||1:10-1:25||Updates and Discussion:
Attendees are invited to share briefly about current planning and transportation related activities in their locality or agency.
|4||1:25-1:30||Economic Development & Environmental Quality Assessment Follow-Up:
Staff will provide the committee with a brief follow-up to the economic development and environmental quality needs assessment from the previous meeting. Committee members are invited to provide their input on specific projects or areas to include this analysis.
|5||1:30-2:10||Rural Roundtable Discussion:
Staff will facilitate a roundtable discussion focused on the rural rustic and rural addition programs. Representatives from VDOT will share program specifics with group. Committee members are invited to share program policies from their localities.
Staff will provide a brief update on the MPO area and how it may affect the Rural Transportation Planning (RTA) Area.
Staff will give a brief update on the ongoing HB2 process and discuss what steps need to be taken to prepare projects for submittal.
