1 1:00-1:05 Matters from the Public and Committee Response:

Members of the public are welcome to provide comment on any public interest,
transportation-related topic, including the items listed on this agenda.
Limit 3 minutes per speaker.

2 1:05-1:10 Approval of the Minutes(*):

3 1:10-1:20 Updates and Discussion:

Attendees are invited to share briefly about current planning and transportation related activities in their locality or agency.

4 1:20-1:25 Accessibility Needs Assessment Follow-up:

Staff will provide a brief update on the on-going RLRP analysis prior to introducing the next topics of Economic Development & Environmental Quality.  Hotspots that were identified during the January 19th work session have been added to the assessment.  Attendees are invited to provide any additional comments or suggestions.

5 1:25-1:45 Economic Development & Environmental Quality Needs Assessment:

Staff will provide the Committee with a presentation on regional economic
development & environmental quality.  The presentation will include analytics and mapping information, along with regional demographic data to show current conditions and identify opportunities & recommendations for economic growth as well as project impacts on environmental quality. Committee members will be invited to participate in a work session to help further identify hotspots in their respective localities.

6 1:45-2:00 FY 17 Rural Work Program Update*:

Staff will present a draft of the FY17 Rural Work Program, for the Committee’s consideration. The Committee will need to make a recommendation to the Commission, for their March Meeting.

7 2:00-2:15 Rural Roundtable Preparation:

In March, the Committee will hold a roundtable discussion on the Rural Rustic and Rural Additions Programs. At the February meeting, the Committee will provide recommendations and feedback on how to structure that discussion.

8 2:15-2:25 MPO Update:

Staff will provide a brief update on the MPO area and how it may affect the Rural Transportation Planning (RTA) Area.  This will include an update on the Route 29 Solutions process as well as the Regional Transit Study.

9 2:25-2:30 Action Items & Other Business:

The Committee will discuss items requiring follow-up action and any other
business.

10 2:30- Additional Matters from the Public:
