SUMMARY:Regional Transit Vision Plan Stakeholder Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission and Regional Transit Partnership is hosting a stakeholder meeting for the Regional Transit Vision Plan for the Charlottesville Area. This meeting will take place from 9:00 am to 11:30 am on October 7th in place of the October 28th Regional Transit Partnership meeting.You can learn more about this initiative to create a regional vision around transit services on the project website.  The public will be able to view this meeting live on YouTube and a recording will be posted on the project website after the meeting. There will also be public meetings for this project this winter. \nWe invite you to visit the project website and take the two surveys on the website.

SUMMARY:Regional Housing Partnership
DESCRIPTION:The Regional Housing Partnership (RHP) serves as an official advisory board\, created by the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission\, in partnership with the public\, private\, nonprofit\, and citizen stakeholders related to housing. The Regional Housing Partnership (RHP) will address the housing needs of the Thomas Jefferson Planning District’s region\, with a focus on housing production\, diversity\, accessibility\, cost\, location\, design\, and increasing stability for the region’s residents.At their September 6 meeting\, the TJPD Commission approved the Operational Framework for the Regional Housing Partnership (RHP). Support for the creation of the RHP came out of the Action Forum held in April 2018\, as part of the TomTom Founders Festival’s Hometown Summit. \nKey work products of the RHP will be a Regional Housing Needs Analysis\, a Regional Housing Plan\, and semi-annual Regional Housing Summits.
