Public Comment: Draft Program Year 2026 Annual Action Plan
The Thomas Jefferson HOME Consortium, administered by the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission, developed the attached Annual Action Plan for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regarding Program Year 2026, from July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027.
The HOME Consortium is made up of all members of the TJPDC, including the City of Charlottesville, and Counties of Albemarle, Greene, Fluvanna, Louisa, and Nelson. Each locality has chosen HOME subrecipients.
The Thomas Jefferson HOME Consortium, administered by the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission, regularly receives HOME funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), while the City of Charlottesville receives CDBG funding from HUD. Although funding amounts are not yet published, the Annual Action Plan has been drafted based on previous years’ amounts.
PUBLIC COMMENT:
The public comment period is from April 15 – May 16, 2026. Charlottesville and TJPDC invite all interested citizens to comment on the Draft Program Year 2026 Annual Action Plan. The report describes how the participating jurisdiction plan to use funds to provide low-income affordable housing and community development.
