Parking
The most convenient parking is in either multi-level public parking garage operated by Lanier Parking:
- Water Street Parking Garage, located on 2nd St SE, just off Water Street, or
- Market Street Garage, located on Market Street at 5th St NE.
The first hour is free for all parking garage users. The TJPDC offices offer a 1-hour parking validation for the second hour. Please note that the validation is not valid for the nearby paid surface lots.

Water Street Center
Many of the meetings hosted by the TJPDC take place in the “Water Street Center”. This conference center and meeting space is operated by the PDC and located directly next door to our offices.

The Water Street Center has its own private entrance separate from the TJPDC offices. If standing at the primary TJPDC entrance on the corner of 4th and Water Streets, proceed east down the sidewalk toward the Charlottesville Transit Center. The door to the Water Street Center is approximately half a block down, just prior to the next alley.
