Move Safely Blue Ridge Seeks Public Input

TJPDC will host a virtual public meeting on June 20th from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm as part of the Move Safely Blue Ridge initiative. Discussions will center around transportation safety in the region.

Move Safely Blue Ridge focuses on strategies to reduce roadway-related fatalities and serious injuries in the City of Charlottesville and the Counties of Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson. The Safety Action Plan is a part of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Discretionary Program and will center on safety improvements for multi-modal means of transportation.

In addition to the public meeting, residents can also complete an online survey to share their ideas.  Visit MoveSafelyBlueRidge.com for more information and to complete the survey.
