PATH has begun hosting Transportation Solutions workshops in communities within the TJPDC region. The first workshop was held on February 18th at Feeding Greene Food Pantry, and another event was held on March 5th at the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority. These events bring together members of the local community to explore public transportation options in the region.
Since our program focuses on assisting seniors and individuals with disabilities, we have expanded our partnership with the Jefferson Area Board for Aging (JABA) to host transportation workshops at JABA’s community centers in Albemarle, Greene, and Nelson counties.
Additionally, through our partnership with the Louisa County Library, we will be organizing a workshop in the town of Mineral.
Below is the full list of upcoming workshops:
- April 2nd – JABA (Greene County Senior Center), 222 Main St, Stanardsville (closed to the public)
- April 10th – JABA (Southern Albemarle Community Center), 1:00 pm, 7625 Porters Rd, Esmont (open to the public)
- April 15th – JABA (Cecilia Epps Community Center), 11.00 am, 8445 Thomas Nelson Hwy #102, Lovingston (open to the public)
- April 29th – Louisa Regional Library, 12:00 pm, 881 Davis Hwy, Mineral (open to the public)
