The Charlottesville-Albemarle Metropolitan Planning Organization (CA-MPO) is in the process of developing the Fiscal Year 2027–2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The TIP is a federally required document that programs transportation projects receiving federal and state funding within the MPO planning area over a four-year period. Consistent with the CA-MPO’s Public Participation Plan, the MPO will conduct a public notice and review period to provide an opportunity for public comment on the draft TIP. A public hearing will also be held during the virtual MPO Policy Board meeting on April 22, 2026, when the Board is expected to consider the document for adoption.
