Your State Legislators

The TJPDC Legislative Liaison represents the interests and positions of the region’s localities before the state legislature and other state policymakers. Much of this effort occurs at the General Assembly during January-March of each year as well as, during the off season, attending meetings of interest to local governments.

The Honorable Katrina E. Callsen

Katrina E. Callsen, a Democrat from Charlottesville, represents the 54th House District, which includes Charlottesville and part of Albemarle County. Elected to the House in 2023, Delegate Callsen is a member of the Counties, Cities and Towns; Courts of Justice; and Finance Committees.
