The TJPD Commission met on December 7 and received presentations on the following topics:
1) the Regional Transit Governance Study (draft report);
2) an update on the Watershed Improvement Program (WIP); and
3) a legislative update about the 2024 General Assembly, which convenes on January 10. The six local governing bodies in the Thomas Jefferson Planning District region have adopted the 2024 regional Legislative Program. The approved program and a one-page summary of the program’s priority items are now available
The Commission also approved a meeting calendar for 2024. The Commission does not typically meet in January, so its next meeting will be held on Thursday, February 1.
