TJPDC Executive Director Christine Jacobs and Deputy Director David Blount recently were on Capitol Hill and met with representatives of Virginia’s Congressional offices. The luncheon briefing event was organized by the Virginia Association of Planning District Commissions (VAPDC) in conjunction with the 2026 National Association of Development Organization’s (NADO) Washington Conference. Staff from the offices of Senator’s Kaine and Warner and from three of Virginia’s Congressional offices attended. Attendees engaged in good discussion about regional projects and challenges, federal funding opportunities and other topics.
