The TJPD Commission met on May 7 and addressed the following topics:
- Laurie Jean Talun presented the 2026-27 HOME Annual Action Plan draft; following a public hearing, the Commission adopted a resolution approving the plan.
- David Blount provided an update on the 2026 General Assembly session.
- Taylor Jenkins Lowery presented a resolution supporting a regional Safe Streets and Roads for All Implementation Grant Application; the Commission approved the resolution.
- The Commission received a report from the Nominating Committee on recommended officers for FY27 (a vote on the slate will be held at the June 4 meeting)
- The Commission approved the FY27 Operating Budget.
