The TJPD Commission met on February 8th and received presentations on the following topics:
1) Executive Director, Christine Jacobs, provided an orientation to the TJPDC, which welcomed four new Commissioners: Albemarle County Supervisor Mike Pruitt, Greene County Supervisor Tim Goolsby, Citizen Representative from Greene County James Higgins, and Louisa Supervisor Manning Woodward;
2) the FY25 CAP Operating Grant for the RideShare program;
3) the FY25 Grant for the Mobility Management program; and
4) a resolution for the application for a USDOT RAISE Grant- Rivanna River Bike Ped Bridge.
The Commission also received a draft of the Amended FY2024 Budget for review and approval at the March 7th meeting.
