TJPDC has received $215,000 for the Federal Fiscal Year 2023 from the USDA Rural Housing Service Housing Preservation Grant program. The funding will be used to repair and rehabilitate housing owned or occupied by low-income rural residents in rural parts of Albemarle, Greene, Fluvanna, Louisa, and Nelson counties.
We anticipate financing the repair and rehabilitation of 40 homes with this year’s funding, and appreciate sub-recipients NCCDF, AHIP, FLHF, and Skyline CAP partnering with us to complete this important work.
