Town of Mineral Comprehensive Plan Update
2024 Update
The Town of Mineral is working on updating its Comprehensive Plan and wants your input. The Mineral Comprehensive Plan serves as a guiding document and general vision for the future growth and development in Mineral. The Town has retained the TJPDC’s services to assist with the development of its new Comprehensive Plan. Documents and information related to the development of the Plan will be posted on this website. PROJECT TIMELINE

Visioning and Initial Objective Development
February 2024: The Planning Commission and Town Council will work with staff to set the long-term vision for the town and develop proposed objectives for inclusion in the plan.

Public Engagement
March 2024:The project team will solicit feedback on the initial goals and objectives developed by the Planning Commission. Public feedback will be solicited through a survey and workshop session.

Finalize the Plan
Late Spring/Early Summer 2024: The project team will incorporate public feedback into the Plan. The Planning Commission will receive draft language for the plan and provide additional edits and feedback. The Planning Commission will ultimately recommend approval of a finalized version of the Plan, which will then be relayed to the Town Council. The Council may then approve the Plan or provide additional feedback.
