The Thomas Jefferson HOME Consortium, administered by the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission, developed the attached CAPER report for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regarding Program Year 2023, from July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024. The HOME Consortium is made up of all members of the TJPDC, including the City of Charlottesville, and Counties of Albemarle, Greene, Fluvanna, Louisa, and Nelson. TJPDC Receives $12.2 Million for Broadband Expansion in 10 Central Virginia Counties
The Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission (TJPDC) is the recipient of a $12.2 million Virginia Telecommunication Initiative (VATI) grant announced yesterday by Governor Glenn Youngkin. The TJPDC again partnered with Firefly Fiber Broadband to secure 2024 VATI funding through the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD).
