The Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission will be applying for FFY21 Funding through USDA Rural Housing Service for the Housing Preservation Grant (HPG). If awarded, the grant will provide funding for emergency repairs, rehabilitation, and home safety modifications for very low-income rural homeowners in Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson counties. TJPDC’s application is based on $161,595, half of the expected state allocation of $323,190.TJPDC expects to serve 35 very low-income households (estimate of 50 people) with the FFY21 grant if awarded.
