CLOSED: Request for Proposals: PDC Development Grant
RFP: TJPDC-2024-03 PDC Development Grant The Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission (TJPDC) seeks submissions from for-profit and non-profit developers for projects that would increase the inventory of affordable housing in the region through the development of new units. The TJPDC awarded funds to several development partners through this grant in 2022, and funds in the amount of $660,000 are available for the award at this last stage of the project. Public Meeting about a Regional Housing Study
Wednesday September 18, 20245:30 p.m. at Tonsler ParkCome to discuss a proposed Housing Needs Assessment, which will identify what’s happening with housing in the Charlottesville region since the start of the pandemic. For the proposed study, researchers from Virginia Tech will gather data about our region, talk to citizens in focus groups, and identify the current needs and opportunities related to housing for people with low incomes, disabilities, and other priority needs.
