The City of Charlottesville and the Thomas Jefferson HOME Consortium are making a new plan for its use of federal housing resources. We need your help to identify the most pressing housing and community needs to prioritize limited federal funding for the next five years.
The Thomas Jefferson HOME Consortium, administered by the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission, has been awarded a HOME-American Rescue Plan (ARP) grant in the amount of $2,452,270.00 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The HOME-ARP grant is a one-time allocation. The TJPDC will receive 15% of the award, $367,890.50, for planning and administrative costs. The Title VI Implementation Plan describes the measures the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission adopts to ensure compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin.
