The TJPD Commission met on December 5 and addressed the following topics:2025 General Assembly PreviewCommuter Assistance Program (CAP) Strategic Plan DraftApproved grant application resolutions for RAISE Grant, RideShare FY26 Operating Grant, and the PATH Mobility Management FY26 Grant.Appointed Central Virginia Regional Housing Partnership representatives.Appointed Building/Office Space Committee.Materials for all TJPD Commission meetings are available here.The Commission’s next regular meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 6.

2025 TJPDC Legislative Program Adopted

The 2025 TJPD Legislative Program has been approved by the six local governing bodies in the region. The Program has three top legislative priorities, along with legislative positions in a number of areas of interest to local governments. With input from the region’s local governing bodies, a regional legislative program is developed and approved each year in advance of the upcoming Virginia General Assembly session.The 2025 Program is posted on the TJPDC website.

TJPDC Staff Continue the Learning Adventure

It's been a busy start to FY2025 at TJPDC, with many opportunities for staff professional development. Staff participated in a field trip to Louisa and Fluvanna counties on October 10th. The first half of the day began with Louisa County Administrator, Christian Goodwin, and Economic Development Director, Andy Wade, where we toured Louisa County High School, Lake Anna, and the Zion Crossroads/Springcreek area.
