State Budget for FY27/28 Adopted

After many months of wrangling, state lawmakers at the 11th hour agreed on a state budget for fiscal years 2027 and 2028. The House and Senate approved a budget compromise on June 22 that had been crafted by senior legislators. Governor Abigail Spanberger proposed 14 amendments that the legislature approved a week later, enabling the budget to be enacted on June 29, just one day before expiration of the current fiscal year budget. PATH Launches Address Lookup Tool

Residents across the Charlottesville region now have a simpler way to determine whether Jaunt services are available at their address. PATH has launched a new online Address Lookup Tool designed to help riders quickly identify if they live within Jaunt’s service area and which Jaunt transportation services may be available to them. The tool is especially helpful for individuals who are unfamiliar with Jaunt’s service boundaries or are unsure which of the organization’s transportation programs operate in their community.
