RFP: TJPDC-2024-03 PDC Development Grant The Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission (TJPDC) seeks submissions from for-profit and non-profit developers for projects that would increase the inventory of affordable housing in the region through the development of new units. The TJPDC awarded funds to several development partners through this grant in 2022, and funds in the amount of $660,000 are available for the award at this last stage of the project. The Thomas Jefferson HOME Consortium, administered by the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission, developed the attached CAPER report for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regarding Program Year 2023, from July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024. The HOME Consortium is made up of all members of the TJPDC, including the City of Charlottesville, and Counties of Albemarle, Greene, Fluvanna, Louisa, and Nelson. The Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission (TJPDC) is the recipient of a $12.2 million Virginia Telecommunication Initiative (VATI) grant announced yesterday by Governor Glenn Youngkin.
