Specifically, the TJPDC is seeking a part-time accounting consulting service to perform accounting, reporting, payroll, and human resource services.  The TJPDC requires a consultant with governmental and accrual accounting or bookkeeping experience.The agency utilizes QuickBooks accounting software and currently process all Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and monthly budget management internally.     Public Notice: 2023-2027 HOME and CDBG Consolidated Plan

    The Thomas Jefferson Area HOME Consortium, administered by the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission (TJPDC), receives the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) grant through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). As a recipient of this funding, TJPDC, in partnership with the City of Charlottesville as the Consortium’s lead entity, develops a Consolidated Plan every five years. The TJPDC will receive 15% of the funding for planning and administrative costs.     The Thomas Jefferson HOME Consortium, administered by the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission, has been awarded a HOME-American Rescue Plan (ARP) grant in the amount of $2,452,270.00 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The HOME-ARP grant is a one-time allocation. The TJPDC will receive 15% of the award, $367,890.50, for planning and administrative costs.
